On August 22, 2022, China announced that the country would be removing the ban on visas to boost stranded Indian students. The announcement was made public through the Chinese Embassy in India. China’s Foreign Minister has come up with this decision to help the Indian students stuck at home for two years since Covid-19. In a tweet that Ji Rong, the Counsellor in the Foreign Ministry of China, posted: “Warmest congrats to Indian students! Most of them are medical students.
